About - Michelle Silverthorne Counsellor

About Me

I am passionate about being a therapist and supporting others to reach their full potential. I have been counselling adults and teenagers for the past 16 years.  My approach is responding to your needs and what you bring to therapy.  I will not judge you but will accept and respect you while being honest with you.

I see you as the one who knows what is hurting and aim to facilitate a way of working through this hurt together.  I aim to build a honest and  trusting relationship, one where you will feel comfortable to discuss and explore what is happening in your life.

I offer long term and short term therapy on a wide range of problems, however my speciality is working creatively with Anxiety, Stress, Depression and Trauma.

I am an accredited and experienced counsellor/psychotherapist based in Bromley, near Locksbottom. I was originally working in the teaching profession, teaching adults with learning disabilities, but it seemed natural to me to train to become a counsellor and I qualified in 2005.  You can contact me on 07752 80972
